TRAINING FORMAT & PREREQUISITES

The class will be held through the auspices of the Golden Portal Institute, a non profit institute dedicated to teaching the tools or inner healing to health care practitioners and students of the spirit.

Format

The course will include lecture and demonstrations based on the material in the book and experiential learning.(see table of contents of The New Regression Therapy)

Prerequisites

1) It is preferred that prospective students will have already received basic training in hypnosis, 25 to 50 hrs minimal course and certification of completion by a recognized school in the field of hypnotherapy or have received sufficient training and experience otherwise so as to have a good understanding of the subconscious mind's working and various methods of induction.One distance learning program I can recommend for a very basic training is the 25 hour "Fundamentals of Hypnosis Course" provided through the Transpersonal Hypnotherapy Institute. 2) Students attending should have also completed reading of the class manual - The New Regression Therapy.

Class will meet for a total of 43 hrs.

Lodging and meals will be the responsiblitiy of the student. The classes will be held in Southeast Denver near 1-25 and Colorado Blvd where there are numerous restaurants and quality hotels (see above).

Registration fee for new students is $690

Registration fee for former students is $475 (who've taken the training in 2011 and prior years)

Students finishing the full 6 days of trainings and practicum will receive a certificate of completion

from the Institute and will be able to receive 2 mentoring/consultation sessions via phone, Skype, or in person without additional charge.

CERTIFICATION IN THE NEW REGRESSION THERAPY

Certification in NRT through the Golden Portal Institute will be proferred to

those completing the above course (Vancourver Fall 2011 or Denver Fall 2011) plus the 3 day review in the Spring of 2012* ($300 for either review location non including lodging) in Denver and Vancounver (dates and location to be announced) and completing or receiving approval by the instructor of the four criterion below.

1) Review of the student's demonstration in class of their understanding of the principles and tools taught in the class and manual.
2) Completion of a written exam.

3) Review and discussion of three recordings of client sessions by the student. The review by Greg can be done via phone, Skype, or in person.

4) Receipt of Certification Fee for $350 (paid to the Golden Portal Institute.).

The 3 day review make be taken at any subsequent date of the scheduling and the exam and the recordings and reports along with the fee may be submitted at any time after completion of the course. 3 day reviews will be conducted every 6 months following a class*.

STUDENTS FROM OUT OF STATE OR FOREIGN STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO TAKE TIME TO VISIT THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS WHICH ARE ONLY A 45 MINUTE DRIVE AWAY FROM DENVER.
