Question: How many sessions does it take to bring healing to one issue or problem?
Answer: Usually one or two sessions which may last one and a half to two hours each. In about 90% of the cases where I use the modalities in the New Regression Therapy that issue is totally cleared and no maintenance is necessary.
Question: Why is it not beneficial for clients to hear of the therapist’s opinions?
Answer: We waste time sharing our opinions. The only thing that matters about a client having information is how it has come to them. Self awareness is critical for healing. Information is only that, information. Opinions we may have of clients issues usually are filters we hold in the way of their healing. When we hold an opinion of a person or client, that opinion is a barrier to receiving the client openly and as they are. Worst cases scenario is when a therapist tells a client her opinion and the client believes it and assumes it into their system and the therapist is wrong. This is what Fritz Perls called a “mind fuck.”
Diagnosis or Enegrams, or any other labeling contributes to misperception by the client of their own experiences and helps them stay in their head or “egoic minding” as Jack Elias calls it. Healing that is true involves “no thinking” that is often followed instantly by insight (about the problems or its cause). This is entirely different because of its source, not the ego but the Inner Being of the client.
Opinions do not foster insight, they only further beliefs for the client to ruminate on.
